Maintenance Technician (Dry Ice Manufacturing)

Location: Star, Mississippi, United States; onsite at a dry-ice production facility

A major U.S. supplier of industrial, medical, and specialty gases, safety products, ammonia products, and process chemicals, operating as part of Air Liquide.

What you will do

• Repair, install, inspect, and maintain plant production equipment.
• Complete assigned preventive maintenance and support safe, reliable equipment operation.
• Collaborate with production supervisors on repairs and report safety hazards or quality deficiencies.
• Operate forklifts or pallet jacks and enter maintenance and inventory data into software systems.
• Support production needs and perform required facility cleanup.
• Work safely during time-sensitive outages in a noisy facility with elevated CO2 vapor, using required protective equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and at least 21 years of age.
• Three years of maintenance experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn and repair plant production equipment.
• Formal training in one or more of the following: general industrial maintenance, hydraulics, industrial electrical systems, PLC programming, industrial refrigeration, compressors, or pneumatics.
• Ability to routinely lift at least 50 pounds, use hand tools, climb ladders, and work overhead.
• Availability for Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM shifts, occasional on-call or shift coverage, and at least one weekend day for team coverage.
