Base salary: $65,000–$118,000 per year, plus eligibility for sales incentive compensation.

What you will do

  • Sell Ethicon surgical devices and solutions to surgeons, hospital decision makers, clinicians, and authorized distributors.
  • Grow hemostasis and wound closure platforms within assigned physicians, hospital institutions, and territory accounts.
  • Demonstrate proper product use in operating room environments and provide product, procedure, and clinical education.
  • Manage customer questions and objections while following product indications, sales methodology, and healthcare compliance requirements.
  • Conduct sales presentations, execute the selling cycle, and achieve forecasts and account objectives.
  • Analyze market and account data, prioritize opportunities, and build relationships with physicians, hospital personnel, distributors, and key opinion leaders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • At least 2 years of relevant business experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology sales, or healthcare, with demonstrated achievement of sales objectives.
  • Valid driver’s license issued in the United States.
  • Ability to work with surgeons and hospital stakeholders, primarily in operating room settings.
  • Strong planning, time management, communication, negotiation, interpersonal, and account-management skills.

Nice to have

  • Hospital-based pharmaceutical or medical device sales experience, especially operating room sales.
  • Experience developing new and innovative markets.
  • Strong sales performance, account targeting, daily action planning, and collaboration with marketing, strategic account managers, distributors, and key opinion leaders.
  • Experience selling to highly educated or high-profile customer groups.
