Sr NPI Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Bayan Lepas, Malaysia; onsite work required

What you will do

• Set up and develop new products in DACA, DAF DA, and Vacuum Reflow processes.
• Drive smooth transfer of products into mass production through process optimization and risk management.
• Conduct process development risk assessments and evaluation planning, including CZ and DOE activities.
• Establish optimal process conditions, apply SPC, and maintain process documentation.
• Track, analyse, and report sample-build data for designers and customers.
• Prepare and present deliverables to REL-AED while coordinating with QA, operations, and R&D.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Materials, or related Engineering.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes such as dicing, die attach, wire bonding, and molding.
• Knowledge of process flows, defect mechanisms, SPC, data analysis fundamentals, and basic DOE concepts.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, including the ability to identify trends and potential production issues.
• Clear communication skills for cross-functional coordination and technical reporting.
• Detail-oriented, structured, willing to learn, and able to manage multiple NPI tasks.

Nice to have

• Experience in semiconductor, assembly, manufacturing, or process engineering.
• Relevant internship or project experience for recent graduates.
