Sr Engineer, Process (Semiconductor)

Location: Pasir Gudang, Malaysia; the position primarily works in an office and manufacturing environment, with local travel required.

What you will do

• Develop, implement, and maintain workflows for backend semiconductor manufacturing processes.
• Coordinate with engineers, technicians, operators, and quality assurance personnel to integrate and execute processes.
• Evaluate equipment, tooling, materials, and new technologies for process efficiency and product quality.
• Monitor process performance, yield, quality metrics, and production targets; implement corrective actions.
• Optimize processes to reduce cycle time and defects while improving resource utilization and automation.
• Maintain process documentation, work instructions, reports, and compliance with safety and environmental requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
• Solid understanding of backend operations in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Proven experience in semiconductor process management and optimization.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of quality assurance principles, backend equipment, and tooling.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle for local travel.
