Engineer II (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Own and optimize critical semiconductor manufacturing processes to improve quality, yield, productivity, and stability.
• Monitor process performance, yield metrics, quality indicators, and production data to identify abnormalities and improvement opportunities.
• Lead defect reduction, scrap reduction, cycle-time improvement, cost optimization, and continuous improvement projects.
• Support new product introductions, process and equipment qualifications, process transfer, validation, and manufacturing ramp activities.
• Investigate process and quality issues, coordinate containment actions, and implement corrective and preventive measures.
• Collaborate with maintenance, equipment, quality, production, technicians, and operators to improve uptime and manufacturing performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical/Electronics, Materials Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• 2–5 years of manufacturing or semiconductor engineering experience.
• Experience with process engineering, structured problem-solving, root cause analysis, SPC, yield improvement, and quality improvement.
• Knowledge of 5-Why, Fishbone, and FMEA methodologies.
• Analytical thinking, effective communication, and strong team collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Semiconductor assembly or power module experience.
• Experience with DOE, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 and AIAG-VDA FMEA.
• Project leadership experience and a continuous improvement mindset.
