Senior Technical Program Manager (Security)

Location: Remote - US

Salary: $130,000–$150,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end planning and delivery of enterprise security programs, including vulnerability management, incident response readiness, identity and access management, data protection, and cloud security.
• Build and maintain program plans, timelines, budgets, resource allocations, dashboards, and executive status reports.
• Track program risks, dependencies, security findings, vulnerabilities, and remediation efforts, escalating blockers with recommendations.
• Coordinate engineering, product, legal, and third-party vendor activities to implement security controls on schedule.
• Support incident response coordination, post-incident reviews, and follow-up action tracking.
• Improve security program management processes, tooling, governance frameworks, and cross-functional operating practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of technical program management experience, including 3+ years managing security-focused programs.
• Strong understanding of vulnerability management, threat modeling, identity and access management, network security, cloud security, and incident response.
• Familiarity with SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, GDPR, HIPAA, or FedRAMP frameworks.
• Ability to manage multiple complex cross-functional programs, assess risk, communicate technical impact to executives, and influence teams without direct authority.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, PMP, PgMP, CRISC, CCSP, or cloud security certifications are expected or relevant to the role.
