Partner 20, Staff Security Technical Program Manager

Location: Hybrid role requiring in-office presence two days per week, Tuesday and Thursday, in San Francisco, California, with occasional days in Menlo Park, California.

Salary: $243,000–$284,000 per year, with eligibility for carry and discretionary bonus programs.

What you will do

• Own firm-wide security remediation by consolidating findings from threat models, code reviews, penetration tests, vulnerability management, audits, and incident postmortems.
• Run the vulnerability management program, including scan coverage, patching cadence, exceptions, risk acceptance, SLAs, and executive reporting.
• Coordinate vendor security reviews and keep requesters informed about review status.
• Drive security initiatives from kickoff through delivery across Security, IT, Legal, HR, Compliance, and engineering.
• Build the team's execution rhythm through sprint planning, quarterly OKRs, ticket hygiene, documentation, and decision records.
• Define program metrics and turn reporting into actionable risk and execution insights.

Requirements

• 7+ years of technical program management experience, including at least 3 years running security programs.
• Experience owning a vulnerability management program at scale, including remediation tracking, SLAs, executive reporting, and measurable risk reduction.
• Technical fluency in security findings, severity, exploitability, and risk ratings.
• Experience with enterprise SaaS tools such as Okta, Slack, and G Suite.
• Hands-on experience with agile execution, sprint planning, OKR frameworks, Jira or Linear, Confluence or Notion, and spreadsheet or BI reporting.
• Clear structured writing and the ability to collaborate across IT, Legal, Compliance, and engineering.
