Sr. Staff Technical Program Manager (Cybersecurity)

Location: San Jose, California, USA; hybrid three days a week

Salary: $143,500–$205,000 USD base pay per year, excluding commission, bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Own the company-wide Service Health Program from strategy through execution across the Zero Trust Exchange.
• Define and govern service health practices, including SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, charters, roadmaps, and success metrics.
• Drive adoption of Critical User Journey and Lighthouse signals, converting operational alerts into decisions and measurable engineering outcomes.
• Build continuous measurement dashboards covering security, defects, incidents, capacity, availability, and latency.
• Run cross-organizational operating cadences for intake, prioritization, delivery tracking, and post-delivery verification.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Production Engineering, or similar roles involving large-scale distributed systems.
• Deep experience with SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, service health practices, and improving availability, latency, and durability.
• Experience leading cross-functional production service health programs across multi-product, multi-cloud, or multi-region environments.
• Strong data fluency across instrumentation, metrics pipelines, synthetic monitoring, and executive dashboards.
• Ability to influence engineers, managers, and senior leadership through clear tradeoff framing, written updates, and decision facilitation.
• Demonstrated curiosity about AI tools and experience integrating new technologies into workflows and problem-solving.

Nice to have

• Experience partnering with Production Engineering on incident, problem, post-incident, RCA, and preventive-action programs.
• Experience implementing service health review and OKR operating cadences across multiple product lines in networking or cybersecurity.
• Familiarity with capacity planning, staged rollout safety guardrails, SRE, or ITIL practices.
