Staff Technical Program Manager (Security)

Location: Hybrid in Menlo Park, California, or Bellevue, Washington, United States

Salary: $194,000–$278,300 per year

What you will do

• Lead high-ambiguity security programs from inception through execution, turning 0-to-1 initiatives into measurable outcomes.
• Own executive-facing planning, execution reviews, strategy summits, product reviews, QBRs, and leadership decision forums.
• Drive portfolio strategy, sequencing, dependency management, prioritization, resource alignment, and risk escalation across security initiatives.
• Establish governance frameworks, reporting cadences, decision processes, escalation paths, and executive communications.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, and TPM teams to connect technical execution with customer outcomes and product strategy.
• Coach and mentor Security TPMs while improving program strategy, stakeholder management, and execution excellence.

Requirements

• Senior-level technical program management experience, with the ability to lead complex security programs.
• Technical and product depth sufficient to evaluate security architecture choices, tradeoffs, downstream implications, and risks.
• Experience engaging in architecture reviews, design discussions, technical tradeoff conversations, and program reviews.
• Ability to manage cross-functional dependencies, governance, prioritization, and executive communications.
• Ability to translate complex technical topics into clear narratives and drive accountable decisions.
