Medical Excellence Lead (Pharma)

Location: Taipei, Taiwan; the role supports Taiwan and Hong Kong markets.

What you will do

• Establish operational frameworks for medical information, scientific communications, advisory boards, investigator-initiated studies, and medical project management.
• Standardize medical processes across Taiwan and Hong Kong while overseeing governance, budgets, resources, quality assurance, and compliance.
• Lead evidence generation, publication strategies, medical capability building, digital transformation, and scientific communication initiatives.
• Develop and manage patient support and assistance programs addressing access, affordability, adherence, education, and patient advocacy.
• Collaborate with global, regional, market access, commercial, healthcare provider, NGO, and patient organization stakeholders.
• Set performance expectations and KPIs, develop the team, and drive continuous improvement through performance data and stakeholder feedback.

Requirements

• Medical, pharmacy, or PhD degree.
• At least 5 years of pharmaceutical or biotech industry experience in medical operations, project management, medical excellence, or patient program management.
• 1–3 years of leadership experience with cross-functional team leadership and people development responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of regulatory environments and patient support program requirements in Taiwan and Hong Kong.
• Fluent Mandarin is required.
• Strong stakeholder management, analytical, change management, written communication, budget management, and compliance skills.
