Technology Operations Continuous Improvement Engineer (Lean Six Sigma)

What you will do

• Partner with Technology and R&D organizations to identify, prioritize, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Facilitate process improvement projects using Lean Six Sigma, DMAIC, root cause analysis, process mapping, statistical analysis, and DOE.
• Improve laboratory measurement systems, testing processes, data integrity, test methods, and operational workflows.
• Monitor KPIs and operational metrics to identify opportunities and support data-driven decisions.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, project documentation, and management updates.
• Collaborate across functions to develop and showcase operational excellence and continuous improvement projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemistry, materials science, statistics, data science, industrial engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3–5 years of experience in process improvement, operational excellence, manufacturing, R&D, laboratory operations, or a related field.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, continuous improvement, Measurement System Analysis, Statistical Process Control, and root cause analysis.
• Experience with statistical analysis tools such as JMP, Minitab, or equivalent software.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate across functions, manage multiple priorities, and work independently and as part of a team.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
• Experience facilitating DOE, MSA, or other statistical improvement projects.
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI, laboratory operations, product development, technology commercialization, or cross-functional technology organizations.
