Assistance Maintenance Manager (Food Manufacturing)

Salary: $74,900–$97,400 annually

What you will do

• Lead preventive and predictive maintenance programs for bakery equipment and manufacturing processes.
• Plan, organize, and direct mechanics’ work through the plant maintenance program.
• Provide technical support for controls, electrical, and mechanical systems and cover for the Maintenance Department Leader when needed.
• Manage maintenance software and systems for a primarily automated manufacturing line.
• Monitor maintenance KPIs and reports, initiating corrective actions to improve performance.
• Oversee compliance with OSHA, EPA, FDA, safety, sanitation, and company maintenance standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably food manufacturing.
• Experience with electrical circuitry, bread and roll production equipment repair, refrigeration, and fuel-burning equipment.
• Strong leadership, communication, team-building, and computer skills, with the ability to develop and lead teams.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings and use gauges, meters, and related technical documentation.
• Ability to travel up to 10% and perform physically demanding tasks including standing, climbing, lifting, kneeling, and using ladders and stairs.

Nice to have

• Technical or bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• AIB Maintenance Correspondence Course.
• Strong PLC knowledge.
