Manager II-Maintenance (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead the Maintenance Department and provide technical and managerial direction for plant equipment, projects, costs, quality, and performance.
• Own safety performance, hazard recognition, incident investigations, regulatory compliance, and safe work systems including LOTO, confined space, line break, hot work, and pre-use inspections.
• Integrate Operational Excellence into daily maintenance activities and long-term improvement initiatives.
• Develop maintenance strategies, efficiency metrics, preventive maintenance systems, and equipment-criticality priorities.
• Establish FMEA-based preventive work and contingency planning, while improving EAM utilization and operator-driven inspections.
• Develop employee skills, succession plans, and cross-functional collaboration across plant assets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering preferred.
• 6–10 years of experience in a manufacturing or plant environment preferred, including at least 5 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
• Maintenance and engineering experience, with predictive and preventive maintenance expertise.
• Experience with CMSS/EAM, MRO or stores inventory management, leading metrics, and continuous improvement.
• Strong controls aptitude, PLC troubleshooting skills, and computer proficiency required; Oracle experience is a plus.
• Previous maintenance supervisory experience in extrusion plant operations is preferred.
