Principle Maintenance Technician (Manufacturing)

Location: Mountain Home, Arkansas, United States; onsite manufacturing role

Salary: $60,000–$75,000 annually

What you will do

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair automated production machinery to reduce downtime and meet production schedules.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance and improve equipment availability, reliability, quality, and efficiency.
• Investigate root causes of technical issues and implement electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control-system solutions.
• Support new equipment, manufacturing processes, equipment relocations, upgrades, and capital projects.
• Lead contractors and maintenance technicians during projects and train developing maintenance technicians.
• Work with production, quality, engineering, drafting, purchasing, suppliers, and support personnel.

Requirements

• Authorization to work for any employer in the United States is required; visa sponsorship or transfer of sponsorship is not available.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required; a technical associate’s degree is preferred.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience or proven expertise, or 3 years serving as a Principle Maintenance Technician.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing PLC-controlled equipment, including Siemens and Allen Bradley systems, and electrical systems up to 480V, three-phase.
• Proficiency with electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic drawings and schematics, including motors, drives, sensors, conveyors, gearboxes, and control components.
• Experience with fabrication, welding, equipment alignment, hand tools, powered lifts, GMP, safety procedures, documentation, and contractor oversight.

Nice to have

• Technical associate’s degree.
• Experience with welding, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, HEPA filtration, UV light systems, or appliance repair.
