Senior Transportation Manager

Salary: $109,200–$152,900 annually

What you will do

• Deploy and optimize transportation programs across regional teams and the Transportation Center of Excellence.
• Lead transportation RFPs and RFQs, including scope definition, bid events, carrier evaluation, award recommendations, and implementation.
• Manage carrier cost, capacity, service performance, contracts, KPIs, performance reviews, and vendor transitions.
• Oversee the third-party transportation provider responsible for moving raw ingredients, packaging, and displays.
• Develop carrier relationships supporting imports from Mexico and coordinate machinery transfers and international shipments.
• Partner with carriers, 3PLs, Finance, Purchasing, Engineering, Marketing, and regional transportation teams to resolve operational and billing issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Transportation, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent education, training, and experience.
• At least 7 years of varied experience in transportation management and/or supply chain.
• Strong business communication, relationship-building, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience with MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, or similar business tools.
• Ability to plan and accomplish goals with limited supervision and travel to organizational facilities, sales centers, and distribution centers.
