Intern/Co-op - HES&S Safety and Industrial Hygiene

Location: On site 40 hours per week at Findlay, Ohio, or one of the listed U.S. locations.

Salary: $24.09–$35.96 per hour.

What you will do

• Support health, environmental, safety, and security planning and compliance activities.
• Participate in facility audits, employee training programs, and industrial hygiene activities.
• Assist with equipment maintenance, health and safety projects, and incident investigations.
• Support emergency preparedness and response activities and governmental inspections.
• Prepare project reports and liaise with other Marathon business units and agencies.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree or higher program throughout the internship.
• Major in occupational safety and health, safety management, public health, industrial hygiene, environmental health and safety, fire protection and safety, or a related field.
• Strong academic performance.
• Available to work on site 40 hours per week.
• Ability to safely climb stairs or ladders and lift or carry up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and U.S. work authorization without current or future employer sponsorship.
