HSE Safety Coordinator - Mission Critical (HSE)

Location: Houston, TX; travel to projects across the United States and up to 75% regional travel

Energy and infrastructure contractor building and maintaining electrical power, oil and gas pipeline, transmission, and distribution systems.

What you will do

• Conduct job-site visits, HSE audits, incident investigations, and emergency response.
• Support operations with HSE program compliance and communication.
• Lead safety meetings, trainings, and new-hire orientations.
• Travel to energy infrastructure and mission-critical projects across the United States.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a safety role and 5 years of experience in the oil or gas industry.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Valid driver’s license for applicable vehicles and an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time regionally.

Nice to have

• Experience with duct banks, trenching, data centers, underground telecommunications, underground transmission, or mission-critical projects.
• Board of Certified Safety Professionals or Certified Utility Safety Professional credentials.
• Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills.
