Senior Analyst - Health & Safety

Location: Office-based in Portland or Augusta, Maine, United States

Salary: $87,000–$109,500 annually, plus up to a 16% performance-based bonus

What you will do

• Establish, administer, and monitor company-wide occupational health and safety standards, procedures, and performance.
• Develop safety, industrial hygiene, and environmental compliance programs, including personal protective equipment and safe work procedures.
• Coordinate contractors and consultants, evaluate their progress, and provide specialized technical support.
• Conduct worker safety training in office and field settings and interface with regulatory agencies.
• Lead root-cause accident and incident investigations and prepare executive-level reports.
• Prepare compliance reports, track regulations and standards, and participate in the 24-hour emergency response program.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with at least six years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment and decision-making.
• Strong training, organizational, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to direct external consultants and work under tight deadlines with changing priorities.
• Ability to legally work in the United States in accordance with applicable immigration requirements.
