Intern/Co-op - HES&S Safety and Industrial Hygiene (Spring 2027)

Location: Findlay, Ohio, with additional opportunities at specified U.S. locations; on-site 40 hours per week

Salary: $24.09–$35.96 per hour

What you will do

• Support health, safety, environmental, and security planning and compliance activities.
• Assist with facility audits, industrial hygiene activities, equipment maintenance, and safety projects.
• Support employee training programs and incident investigations.
• Participate in emergency preparedness and response activities.
• Assist with governmental inspections, regulatory compliance, and agency liaison work.
• Prepare and submit reports for assigned projects.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or higher degree program for the duration of the internship.
• Preferred fields include occupational safety and health, safety management, public health, industrial hygiene, environmental health and safety, sustainability, and fire protection and safety.
• Strong academic performance.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
• Must be able to safely climb stairs or ladders and lift or carry up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required for work-related travel.
