TL;DR
HSE Safety Coordinator - Mission Critical (Energy Infrastructure): Conducting job-site visitations, safety audits, incident investigations, emergency response, and HSE program training across energy infrastructure projects with an accent on oil and gas safety, mission-critical environments, and regulatory compliance. Focus on investigating incidents, delivering safety orientations, supporting field operations, and coordinating work across projects throughout the United States.

Location: St. Louis, Missouri, United States; travel to projects across the United States is required

Energy and infrastructure contractor building and maintaining electrical power, transmission, distribution, oil, and gas infrastructure across North America.

What you will do

  • Perform job-site visits and HSE audits.
  • Investigate incidents and support emergency response activities.
  • Assist operations with compliance and communication of HSE programs.
  • Conduct safety meetings, training sessions, and new-hire orientations.
  • Travel regionally to project sites across the United States.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in a safety role and 5 years of experience in the oil or gas industry.
  • A valid driver license for the vehicles operated and an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to work a flexible and varied schedule, including nights and weekends.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time regionally and work at project sites across the United States.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish proficiency preferred.

Nice to have

  • Experience with duct banks, trenching, data centers, underground telecommunications, underground transmission, or mission-critical projects.
  • Board of Certified Safety Professionals or Certified Utility Safety Professional credentials.
