Senior Category Manager (Video Collaboration)

What you will do

• Develop and execute regional category strategies for video conferencing systems and Personal Work Solutions for business across Greater China.
• Manage market research, competitive analysis, customer demand analysis, business planning, forecasts, budgets, ROI, and category KPIs.
• Own product portfolio optimization, SKU rationalization, new product introductions, product updates, and end-of-life planning.
• Develop pricing strategies, discount frameworks, promotional plans, product positioning, and sales enablement tools.
• Partner with sales, marketing, supply chain, global business groups, sales engineering, and alliance partners on launches, inventory, training, and enterprise deals.
• Monitor revenue, margin, market share, supplier performance, and execution risks, recommending data-driven improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, supply chain management, information technology, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in category management, product management, or strategic procurement within unified communications, video conferencing, or enterprise collaboration technology.
• Experience developing category strategies, growing revenue, improving margins, increasing market share, managing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and optimizing B2B technology portfolios.
• Deep knowledge of video conferencing systems, collaboration hardware, UC solutions, hybrid work, AI integration, cloud-based conferencing, and room systems.
• Strong data analysis, financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, negotiation, stakeholder management, and project management skills.
• Fluent English in written and verbal communication; ability to travel regionally up to 20–25% annually.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree, MBA, or MSc.
• Experience with Poly, Yeelink, or similar unified communications hardware brands.
• Experience in a multinational corporation with a global matrix organization.
• Experience launching video conferencing products or managing enterprise-level UC portfolios.
• Knowledge of regional regulatory standards and compliance requirements for electronic and communication products.
