Product Manager, Enterprise Products (IoT/AI)

hirify.global is an off-grid solar energy company combining solar products, connected devices, fintech, field operations, and PAYG financing to expand energy access.

What you will do

• Own the product roadmap and requirements for proprietary firmware, companion applications, and over-the-air release rollouts.
• Manage device lifecycle software, including mobile device management integrations, enrollment, provisioning, security policies, and third-party device platforms.
• Build applications, analytics tools, data definitions, pipelines, and interfaces based on connected-device telemetry.
• Develop manufacturing, quality-control, shop-floor, and logistics systems that digitize workflows and automate documentation, approvals, and shipment tracking.
• Lead product discovery, stakeholder coordination, prototyping, testing, documentation, releases, and adoption tracking.
• Use LLM APIs, automation tools, and lightweight scripts to prototype and improve operational processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 3–5 years of professional product management experience and experience building software applications for IoT or connected-hardware products.
• Hands-on SQL experience and understanding of telemetry, cellular/GSM connectivity, data definitions, and over-the-air updates.
• Experience with APIs, integrations, data-driven product usage tracking, and collaboration with embedded or firmware teams.
• Evidence of shipped prototypes, automations, or internal tools, plus foundations in LLMs and AI.
• Professional working proficiency in Mandarin and English is mandatory; the role is onsite in China and requires travel to markets, manufacturing sites, and vendor sites.

Nice to have

• Experience with manufacturing execution, quality-control, or shop-floor systems.
• Experience with supply chain, logistics, or trade documentation workflows.
• Python or another scripting language for extraction, reconciliation, and analysis.
• Exposure to PAYG, asset finance, microfinance, or emerging-market lending.
