TL;DR
Credit Analyst (Energy) (Credit Risk/Letters of Credit): Managing customer credit portfolios and collateralized trading deals in Makati City with an accent on counterparty analysis, credit limits, documentary credits, and risk mitigation. Focus on reviewing DLC and SBLC terms, coordinating with banks and internal stakeholders, monitoring secured deals, and supporting credit risk management processes.
Location: 6750 Building, Ayala, Makati City, Philippines. Hybrid work model with remote work from home several days a week.

What you will do
- Manage a portfolio of customer and counterparty accounts, including credit limits, terms, financial assessments, and approval processes.
- Analyze counterparty financial standing, industry conditions, business outlook, risks, and opportunities.
- Apply credit risk mitigation strategies, including collateral and acceptable securities.
- Review documentary letters of credit and standby letters of credit, negotiate terms, and coordinate issuance with banks, traders, operations, and legal teams.
- Monitor payment performance, collection efficiency, DSO, credit exposures, blocked orders, and secured trading deals.
- Prepare credit reports, maintain credit data and systems, and contribute to credit policies, processes, and information systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Management Accounting, Accounting Technology, or a related field.
- Proficiency in MS Office and SAP.
- Fluency in English required.
- Strong analytical skills and an accounting background.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, balance risk with business requirements, and work with minimal supervision.
- Experience in data reporting, business intelligence, or corporate data analysis.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of ICC UCP600 and ICC ISP98.
- Experience with documentary letters of credit and standby letters of credit.
- Experience in credit risk mitigation, collateral management, or trade finance.
