General Ledger Analyst (Fixed Asset)

What you will do

• Perform bank reconciliations and verify the accuracy of cash transactions.
• Reconcile and analyze balance sheet accounts, investigate discrepancies, and validate supporting source details.
• Generate reports and resolve accounting mis-recordings before financial statement finalization.
• Manage fixed asset accounting, including recognition, depreciation, transfers, retirements, and write-offs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners on financial deliverables and maintain audit trails.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, GAAP, and corporate policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or an accounting-related field.
• At least 2 years of general accounting experience, primarily in general ledger functions.
• Experience with bank and balance sheet reconciliations, fixed asset accounting, and audit support.
• Strong knowledge of internal controls and GAAP.
• Proficiency with ERP applications, including Oracle and SAP.
• Ability to collaborate across functions and manage multiple priorities.
