Sr. Import/Export Analyst

Location: United States of America. Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available. Certain positions may require U.S. person status under ITAR or EAR requirements.

Salary: $75,175–$125,275 per year. Eligible for a discretionary annual bonus.

hirify.global is hiring for its Global Trade Compliance team.

What you will do

• Manage import and export compliance activities, including HTS and ECCN classification, country-of-origin determinations, restricted-party screening, and export license reviews.
• Classify products using engineering specifications, technical drawings, bills of materials, and product documentation.
• Qualify products under free trade agreements and preferential trade programs, including USMCA, KORUS, and ILFTA.
• Review shipments, customs documentation, broker requests, declarations, and other trade transactions.
• Conduct audits and data analysis to identify compliance risks, process improvements, duty savings, and recovery opportunities.
• Support customs inquiries, audits, disclosures, regulatory reporting, and maintenance of compliance procedures and records.

Requirements

• Must be eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, international trade, logistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in import/export compliance, customs compliance, or global trade operations.
• Strong knowledge of HTS classification, export controls, ECCN classification, export licensing, and restricted-party screening.
• Experience with free trade agreements, customs inquiries, audits, CF28s, CF29s, and regulatory requests.
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and technical product interpretation skills; proficiency with ERP systems, preferably SAP, trade compliance software, and Microsoft Office.
