Sr. Logistics & Customs Analyst

Salary: $84,000–$106,000 annual

What you will do

• Review customs documentation and file accurate entries for ocean, land, and air imports in accordance with CBP guidelines.
• Assess HTS classifications, apply General Rules of Interpretation, and maintain product part-master data for new U.S. imports.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations and timely payment of duties, taxes, and other import charges.
• File Post Summary Corrections and reconciliation entries, and maintain records required under 19 CFR 163.
• Monitor customs clearances, resolve delays and entry issues, and coordinate with internal teams, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and government agencies.
• Provide operational and financial reporting, analyze data, and support the development and implementation of customs compliance procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, transportation, engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of related experience in customs brokerage operations.
• Experience with U.S. ocean freight import and export operations and air freight operations.
• Knowledge of international trade terms, including Incoterms, and customs regulations and procedures.
• Strong data analytics, problem-solving, reasoning, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Intermediate or higher proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Access; ability to develop process-streamlining tools.

Nice to have

• CTPAT and/or ISA experience.
• Customs Broker License.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Experience with export processes and documentation.
