Associate, Logistics Management (Import/Export Compliance) (Logistics/Trade Compliance): Managing customs compliance, import/export documentation, shipment coordination, vendor invoices, and return logistics with an accent on regulatory governance, classification, and audit accuracy. Focus on resolving customs clearance issues, identifying supply-chain risks from trade-law changes, reconciling logistics payments, and correcting shipment exceptions.

Location: Onsite in San Jose, California, United States, five days per week

Salary: $70,000–$90,000 USD hourly base pay rate

What you will do

  • Handle customs compliance, including C-TPAT, ANL, customs regulations, and HTS code maintenance.
  • Validate customs entry documents before carrier invoicing and conduct internal trade-activity audits.
  • Support shipment tracking, transportation coordination, discrepancy follow-up, and customs broker issue resolution.
  • Review logistics vendor invoices, reconcile invoice aging with carriers, and perform payment audits.
  • Monitor shipment incidents, implement corrective actions, and analyze supply-chain risks related to geopolitical changes and new trade laws.
  • Manage RMA logistics, including shipping labels, return tracking, and customs clearance coordination.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in logistics management, transportation, or import/export compliance preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • Experience with classification processes.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, formulas, and pivot tables.
  • Assertive, self-motivated, collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable working with diverse global norms.
  • Ability to work onsite at the San Jose office five days per week.
