Specialist II Import/Export (Trade Compliance)

What you will do

• Provide daily guidance on import, export, export controls, ECCN classifications, documentation, and regulatory requirements.
• Determine export-control jurisdiction, licensing, end use, and licensing requirements under EAR, ITAR, and U.S. Customs regulations.
• Administer the Automated Export System and resolve AES issues while monitoring denied-party screening.
• Develop and deliver customized compliance training and maintain import and export policy and procedure manuals.
• Lead internal and external compliance reviews, assessments, and audits, and create performance reports and compliance tools.
• Oversee freight forwarders, customs brokers, compliance records, post-entry reconciliations, and responses to Customs requests.

Requirements

• Experience supporting import, export, and export-controls compliance activities.
• Knowledge of ECCN classification, EAR, ITAR, U.S. Customs regulations, and AES processes.
• Ability to interpret regulations, provide formal guidance, and train internal stakeholders.
• Ability to conduct compliance reviews, maintain regulatory records, and monitor third-party service performance.
