What you will do

• Assist senior technicians with diagnostics, repairs, and routine maintenance on autonomous vehicles.
• Prepare work bays, handle tools and parts, and support efficient garage operations.
• Observe and learn procedures for sensors, wiring harnesses, computing units, and other autonomous vehicle systems.
• Perform supervised basic maintenance, including fluid checks, tire rotations, and part replacement.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe garage; track tools and parts inventory.
• Move vehicles, receive equipment, document completed work, and follow high-voltage and sensor-equipped vehicle safety procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic mechanical aptitude or hands-on experience through personal projects, coursework, or prior work.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, bend, kneel, and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, punctuality, and willingness to follow instructions and safety procedures.
• Comfort working in a garage environment with noise, fumes, varying temperatures, and computer-based diagnostic equipment.

Nice to have

• Vocational or trade school coursework in automotive technology.
• Interest in robotics, electronics, or emerging vehicle technology.
