Robot Service Technician (Robotics)

Location: Lexington, Kentucky; the commitment section states that the onsite role is available to candidates local to the Miami, FL area. Remote work and relocation are not available.

hirify.global is a U.S.-based autonomous vehicle startup developing and operating autonomous cars and delivery robots.

What you will do

• Assemble wiring harnesses, cables, connectors, and mechanical and electrical robot components.
• Install, configure, and replace LiDAR, camera, and ultrasonic sensors.
• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnose failures, investigate incidents, and repair robot systems.
• Test mechanical and electrical systems, including suspension and battery components.
• Support field deployment, testing, validation, and onsite technical operations across local sites.
• Manage service documentation, inventory, equipment tracking, and parts organization.

Requirements

• Experience using mechanical and electrical tools, measuring equipment, and diagnostic systems.
• Experience assembling and disassembling electrical and electromechanical systems and integrating custom electronic modules.
• Ability to read 2D mechanical drawings and technical documentation.
• Understanding of AC/DC electrical systems and safe working practices.
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, strong troubleshooting skills, and effective teamwork.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship is available. Ability to work onsite, in workshops and in the field, and lift at least 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• Automotive service, vehicle retrofitting, manufacturing, electric vehicle, robotics, or autonomous systems experience.
• Soldering, wire crimping, computer proficiency, or familiarity with diagnostic tools.
