Robot Service Technician (Robotics) – Full Time/Contract

Autonomous vehicle startup developing and operating autonomous cars and delivery robots for real-world deployment.

What you will do

• Assemble wiring harnesses, cables, connectors, and mechanical and electrical robot components.
• Install, configure, replace, and validate LiDAR, camera, and ultrasonic sensors.
• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnose failures, investigate incidents, and repair robot systems.
• Support deployment, testing, and field operation of autonomous delivery robots at local sites.
• Manage equipment, inventory, parts organization, and maintenance documentation.
• Participate in rapid prototyping and hardware validation.

Requirements

• Experience using mechanical and electrical tools and measuring equipment.
• Experience assembling and disassembling electrical and electromechanical systems and integrating custom electronic modules.
• Ability to read 2D mechanical drawings, technical documentation, schematics, and assembly procedures.
• Understanding of AC/DC electrical systems and safe working practices.
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, ability to work in workshops and the field, and ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and be local to the Miami, Florida area.

Nice to have

• Experience in automotive service, vehicle retrofitting, manufacturing, electric vehicles, robotics, or autonomous systems.
• Soldering and wire crimping experience.
• Computer proficiency and familiarity with diagnostic tools.
