Device Engineer (Avionics)

Location: Complete on-site work in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, United States; day-one on-site attendance required

What you will do

• Develop and verify flight management systems for avionics applications.
• Derive high-level and low-level requirements from system requirements.
• Analyze system-level architectural requirements and translate them into software requirements for design and development.
• Develop test cases, execute test procedures, and generate test results and reports.
• Provide technical analysis through artifact reviews.
• Develop support utilities to reduce cycle time and support dry-run and RFS activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• Experience with development and verification activities for software or systems.
• Experience developing and executing test cases and test procedures.
• Ability to analyze system-level architecture and produce software requirements.
• Ability to coordinate effectively and work as part of a team.
• Ability to work fully on-site in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and travel to a client office when requested.
