Facade Engineer (Fire Engineering)

Location: Little London, UK. Applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK.

What you will do

• Deliver External Wall System assessments, including FRAEW and EWS1 reporting.
• Assess the fire performance of facades and external wall systems.
• Evaluate cladding systems, insulation, cavity barriers, and fire stopping.
• Provide proportionate, risk-based technical advice in line with current guidance.
• Prepare clear technical reports and engage confidently with clients.
• Collaborate with surveyors, engineers, and project teams across residential and mixed-use portfolios.

Requirements

• Proven experience delivering FRAEW and/or EWS1 assessments.
• Professional background as a Fire Engineer or Fire Consultant, rather than internal FRA-only experience.
• Strong working knowledge of PAS 9980, EWS1, and Approved Document B.
• Relevant degree or equivalent professional qualification.
• Clear technical reporting and confident client engagement skills.
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK.

• Membership of IFSE, IFE, or a similar professional body.
