Facade Consultant (Facade Engineering)

What you will do

• Prepare facade engineering reports, specifications, quality reports, and technical due diligence reports.
• Carry out inspections and condition surveys of old and new building facades.
• Perform initial QA/QC reviews of reports prepared by other team members.
• Prepare fee proposals, review team proposals, and coordinate senior approval before client submission.
• Manage project administration, documentation, conflict checks, deadlines, resources, and workflow quality.
• Build professional relationships and contribute to new business and innovative service development.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in facade engineering and building construction.
• Knowledge of current building construction techniques and materials.
• Ability to work with clients, building managers, architects, designers, contractors, manufacturers, and other building-industry professionals.
• Ability to work autonomously, take ownership, manage competing workflows, and resolve delivery or quality issues.
• Progress toward an MSc in Facade Engineering from the University of the West of England in Bristol or an equivalent qualification, and membership of the Society of Façade Engineers.
• Understanding of project administration, financial performance, and the company’s RISE values.
