Senior Façade Engineer

What you will do

• Deliver façade projects, including investigative surveys, defect assessments, and large-scale new-build developments.
• Provide technical façade engineering advice to clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Develop high-quality façade documentation and specifications.
• Research new products and disseminate supporting technical literature.
• Review specialist contractor submissions and resolve technical challenges with practical engineering solutions.
• Supervise and mentor design staff, including checking and approving documentation for issue.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering, or significant experience in the façade industry.
• Strong experience in façade design and detailed knowledge of structure, weathertightness, fire protection, thermal performance, and durability.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and report-writing skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Chartered Engineer status is preferred, or progress toward a professional qualification.
• Eligibility for an alternative UK immigration route that does not require Skilled Worker visa sponsorship is required; Skilled Worker sponsorship is not available.
