Senior Façade Engineer

What you will do

• Deliver façade projects, including investigative surveys, defect assessments, and large-scale new-build developments.
• Provide technical façade engineering advice to clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Develop high-quality façade documentation, specifications, reports, and supporting technical materials.
• Research new façade products and disseminate relevant technical literature.
• Review specialist contractor submissions and resolve technical challenges with practical engineering solutions.
• Supervise and mentor design staff and check and approve documentation before issue.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering, or significant experience in the façade industry.
• Strong experience in façade design with detailed knowledge of structure, weathertightness, fire protection, thermal performance, and durability.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and report preparation skills.
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and able to collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Chartered Engineer status is preferred, or progress toward a professional qualification.
• Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK through an immigration route that does not require Skilled Worker visa sponsorship; sponsorship is not currently offered.
