Head of Talent Acquisition

Location: San Francisco, California, United States; work arrangement: On-site

Salary: $200,000–$300,000 per year, plus equity

What you will do

• Develop and execute recruiting strategy aligned with company hiring plans and international expansion.
• Lead and grow a recruiting team supporting research, engineering, go-to-market, and leadership hiring.
• Run executive, senior leadership, and highly specialized technical searches end-to-end.
• Partner with founders and hiring managers to define roles, interview loops, candidate assessments, and closing strategies.
• Establish consistent hiring standards and define expectations for recruiting quality across teams.
• Build scalable recruiting operations and strengthen the candidate experience using internal AI tools.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience leading a talent acquisition function and managing or growing a recruiting team.
• Strong record of hiring technical talent in infrastructure, research, web crawling, or retrieval.
• Experience leading executive and senior leadership searches.
• Ability to operate as both a recruiting strategist and hands-on closer.
• Experience building or improving recruiting systems in a high-growth company.
• Comfort using data to evaluate recruiting performance and guide decisions.
