Senior Tooling Fab Supervisor (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Supervise shop-floor activity, daily schedules, workflow, and tooling fabrication deliverables.
• Lead and manage up to 10 technicians, including hiring, performance management, and team development.
• Coordinate technical and operational work between engineering and manufacturing teams.
• Maintain tooling and consumable inventory and develop training from the skills matrix.
• Develop the fabrication shop’s space, equipment, and layout.
• Maintain a safe working environment and deliver high-quality tooling and ground support equipment on schedule.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• At least 3 years of leadership experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
• Experience in a supervisory or lead technician role.
• Experience with tooling and ground support equipment fabrication is preferred.
• Intimate knowledge of MES software.
• Ability to access applicable export-controlled information without additional export licensing; U.S. government security clearance, authorization, citizenship, or other eligibility requirements may apply if designated for the role.

Nice to have

• At least 8 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree in an associated field.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
