Business Management Summer Internship 2027 (Insurance)

Location: Glasgow, UK; hybrid working with office attendance agreed with the manager. Candidates must be within a commutable distance of the office and have the right to work and reside in the UK.

Salary: £24,968.58 pro rata for the 10-week internship.

What you will do

• Support business areas including Claims, Underwriting, Zurich Municipal, Operations, or the Customer Office.
• Take on real responsibilities during a 10-week summer internship.
• Build an understanding of the insurance business and how customer services are delivered.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and develop strong professional relationships.
• Participate in a development programme designed to build relevant skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• Must be within a commutable distance of the Glasgow office and able to work and reside in the UK without sponsorship.
• Must have resided in the UK for at least three consecutive years.
• Be in the penultimate year of study and on track to achieve at least a 2:1 bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Have at least 96 UCAS Tariff points from three A-Level subjects, Scottish Advanced Highers, or equivalent qualifications.
• Have A–C grades in English and Maths GCSEs or equivalent qualifications.
• Demonstrate communication, teamwork, organizational, influencing, relationship-building, learning, and collaboration skills.
