General Manager - Live In

Location: Windmill, Freshbrook, Wiltshire, United Kingdom; on-site pub management role with live-in arrangement.

Salary: £36,000–£40,000 per year plus bonus.

What you will do

• Lead the pub team and set a strong example in customer service and daily operations.
• Work with the business development manager and management team to grow pub sales.
• Recruit, develop, and support team members so they can deliver excellent customer experiences.
• Maintain brand standards, customer safety, and team safety.
• Manage the pub with high standards, attention to detail, and effective P&L control.

Requirements

• Strong communication, leadership, and people-management skills.
• Business awareness and experience controlling P&L.
• High standards and attention to detail in day-to-day pub operations.
• Previous General Manager experience is desirable, particularly in hospitality, retail, or another fast-paced environment.
• Personal licence required or must be acquired after appointment.
• Sufficient spoken and written English to work safely and understand allergen controls.
