Principal, FP&A — Development

Location: In-office at the corporate headquarters in the Brickell area of Miami, Florida. Travel to project sites is approximately 10% of the time.

What you will do

• Publish recurring portfolio reports covering budgets, forecasts, commitments, spend, and variances.
• Analyze capital deployment, cost trends, site benchmarks, and scenarios across development projects.
• Build and maintain decision-ready dashboards and visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, and AI tools.
• Own cost estimates across the full project lifecycle and perform estimate-to-actual analysis at commercialization.
• Partner with Development, Construction, Procurement, Corporate Development, and Energy Origination on estimates, approvals, forecasts, and ad hoc analysis.
• Reconcile PMIS and NetSuite data, support close and accruals, standardize reporting, and visit project sites to validate assumptions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in FP&A, project finance, cost estimating, project controls, or portfolio analytics.
• Experience with portfolio analysis, cost estimating, budgeting, and estimate-to-actual analysis, ideally in real estate development, data centers, energy, or large capital projects.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, including the ability to present polished reporting to corporate and operations stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Independent dashboard development using Power BI, Tableau, or comparable visualization tools; advanced Excel proficiency.
• Practical experience using AI tools in analytical and reporting work, plus willingness to travel approximately 10% to project sites.

Nice to have

• Experience with PMIS platforms such as Procore, Kahua, e-Builder, or Unifier.
• Experience with NetSuite or comparable ERP and accounting platforms.
