Senior Financial Analyst (FP&A)

Location: In-office role based at the headquarters in American Fork, Utah, United States. Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

What you will do

• Own driver-based budgeting and forecasting for R&D and product development spend.
• Partner with Engineering and Product leaders to translate roadmaps, headcount plans, and hiring decisions into financial impact.
• Lead ROI, capacity planning, and investment analysis to guide funding and prioritization decisions.
• Track software and product development costs with Accounting, including proper classification and reporting of R&D spend.
• Lead cross-functional analyses involving margin expansion, unit economics, pricing, and profitability.
• Provide ad hoc financial modeling and analysis for strategic decisions requested by the CFO, President, and VP of FP&A.

Requirements

• 4–7+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or strategic finance, with end-to-end ownership of a budget or spend area.
• Experience forecasting and controlling engineering and product development spend, including capitalized and expensed R&D costs.
• Understanding of gross margin dynamics across hardware COGS and recurring-revenue SaaS models.
• Expert-level driver-based financial modeling skills in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Hands-on experience with ERP and financial forecasting systems; Adaptive experience is preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; employment requires drug screening and a background check.
