Field Application Engineer (Robotics)

Location: Remote field-based in Texas, covering the United States and Mexico; up to 40% travel within the United States and Mexico

Salary: $100,795–$125,000 annually

This position supports ATI Industrial Automation, which develops robotic end-of-arm technologies including tool changers and force-torque sensing systems.

What you will do

• Provide technical support to customers during pre-sale and post-sale activities.
• Join sales personnel on customer visits to identify opportunities and provide engineering expertise.
• Conduct product demonstrations with robots at trade shows, conferences, and customer sites.
• Develop robot-based applications for ATI products and create videos and application notes.
• Troubleshoot customer issues and deliver timely technical solutions.
• Manage customer cases in Salesforce and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, controls, or a related engineering discipline.
• Fluency in Spanish and English is required.
• 3–5 years of engineering experience, preferably in automation.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with SolidWorks and Microsoft Office.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, and independent-working skills.

Nice to have

• Experience programming industrial robots such as Fanuc, ABB, or Kuka.
