Full Stack Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid in New York City

Salary: $170,000–$210,000 base salary, plus equity and benefits

What you will do

• Design, architect, prototype, and implement scalable software solutions across the stack.
• Build web applications with complex interaction patterns and flexible components using Python, TypeScript, React, PostgreSQL, and Snowflake.
• Own server-side applications, APIs, databases, and backend systems powering the platform.
• Lead projects, guide technical direction, and provide systems design expertise for complex initiatives.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Customer Success, and Sales to deliver customer-focused features.
• Maintain code quality through testing, reviews, engineering best practices, and mentorship of junior engineers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-stack engineering experience.
• Strong Python, TypeScript, React, PostgreSQL, JavaScript, CSS, and web component experience.
• Experience with FastAPI, client-facing applications, systems design, scalable architecture, ORMs, and database tradeoffs.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines with GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, or similar tools.
• Strong product sense, problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and independent execution.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup in New York City.

Nice to have

• Experience with analytics tools or health tech.
• Familiarity with AWS services including EC2, S3, and RDS.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Datadog.
• Active participation in design and product discussions.
