General Manager (Optical)

What you will do

• Oversee daily store operations, including staffing, inventory, bookkeeping, planning, and policy compliance.
• Lead, coach, train, and develop associates while recruiting and retaining talent.
• Manage store sales, profitability, budgets, supplies, schedules, and financial performance.
• Monitor customer and patient experiences and partner with the Doctor to support quality care.
• Execute merchandising, marketing, promotional, audit, quality, and service standards.
• Report store performance to the District Manager and maintain accurate records and associate files.

Requirements

• 5+ years of retail experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of the optical industry preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and build strong associate relationships.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, customer service, and sales skills.
• Some locations may require specific licenses or credentials under applicable state laws.
