General Manager - Optical

What you will do

• Oversee daily store operations, including staffing, inventory, bookkeeping, planning, and policy enforcement.
• Lead, coach, train, and develop associates while supporting recruitment, retention, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
• Manage store sales, profitability, budgets, supplies, merchandising, marketing, and promotional initiatives.
• Monitor store performance and ensure high-quality customer and patient experiences in partnership with the Doctor.
• Conduct audits and maintain corporate, safety, quality, merchandising, service, and recordkeeping standards.
• Communicate with the District Manager and provide accurate operational reporting.

Requirements

• 5+ years of retail experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of the optical industry preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and build strong associate relationships.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, customer service, and sales skills.
• Store duties may vary where state laws require specific licenses or credentials.
