General Manager (Optical)

What you will do

• Oversee daily store operations, including staffing, inventory, bookkeeping, planning, and policy enforcement.
• Lead, train, coach, and develop associates while providing feedback and performance evaluations.
• Manage store sales, profitability, budgets, supplies, scheduling, and business performance.
• Monitor customer and patient experiences and partner with the Doctor to support quality care.
• Execute merchandising, marketing, and promotional initiatives according to brand standards.
• Conduct audits, maintain accurate records, and ensure corporate, quality, and safety standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of retail experience; supervisory experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of the optical industry is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and build strong associate relationships.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, customer service, and sales skills.
• Some duties may require specific licenses or credentials under applicable state laws.
