North America Controller (Manufacturing)

Location: Hybrid role based in Wood Dale, Illinois, United States; candidates must be within reasonable commuting distance and able to work regularly from the office. Relocation assistance is available for relocation to Wood Dale, Illinois.

Salary: $130,000–$170,000 USD per year, plus bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Lead accounting and controllership activities for North America commercial operations.
• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, consolidations, commissions, payroll-related accounting, accruals, and lease accounting.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with U.S. GAAP, company policies, and internal reporting requirements.
• Maintain SOX controls, coordinate internal and external audit support, and remediate control deficiencies and audit findings.
• Partner with FP&A, Operations Finance, Supply Chain, Commercial teams, and business leaders on reporting, forecasting, analysis, and decision support.
• Lead and develop the accounting team while driving process simplification, standardization, and automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting, controllership, or audit experience, preferably in global manufacturing and public-company environments.
• Experience with audit, U.S. GAAP, financial consolidations, and SOX compliance.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capability.
• Ability to work regularly from the Wood Dale office in a hybrid arrangement.

• CPA certification.
• MBA.
• Experience with Oracle, BlackLine, or OneStream.
