Controller (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead accounting policies, fiscal records, internal controls, budgeting, forecasting, and job costing.
• Own the month-end and year-end close, including reconciliations, journal entries, inventory analysis, and financial reporting.
• Review orders for ASC 606 revenue recognition and analyze project costs and profitability forecasts.
• Maintain fixed asset records, capital expenditure requests, tax compliance, audits, and required financial reports.
• Provide leadership for the ERP and business information systems while partnering with manufacturing, sales, purchasing, engineering, and shared services.
• Coach and develop accounting staff and establish department goals, staffing requirements, and expense controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 8–10 years of finance and accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong financial analysis, analytical, written, and oral communication skills.
• Strong computer skills, particularly Excel and Word.
• Experience with ERP and other business software; Syteline is preferred.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States; employment eligibility is verified through E-Verify.
