Clinical Implementation Manager (Surgical Services)

Location: Remote, United States; regular travel to clinical sites required, with 50%+ of time spent traveling.

Salary: $80,000–$85,000 annually, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Travel to clinical sites, lead pre-launch preparation, and confirm logistics, materials, and site readiness.
• Activate new sites by onboarding clinical coordinators, scheduling preceptor onboarding, and coordinating materials.
• Support students throughout clinical rotations, including remediation, progress tracking, and early risk escalation.
• Coordinate with clinical coordinators and preceptors, conduct onboarding sessions, and complete recurring check-ins.
• Follow up on preceptor evaluations and maintain communication with students and hospital stakeholders.
• Build client relationships, support multi-site hospital accounts, and resolve or escalate issues appropriately.

Requirements

• Active NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or NCCT TS-C certification, extensive operating room experience as a nurse or OR professional, or an associate's/nursing degree with first-assist experience.
• Ability to present independently to clinical coordinators, preceptors, and hospital staff.
• Experience tracking program or cohort progress, identifying risks, and managing in-person program logistics.
• Willingness to travel to clinical sites 50%+ of the time, with heavier travel during clinical scrubs.
• Ability to work autonomously and build processes from an unfinished playbook.

Nice to have

• Experience in EdTech or online/hybrid healthcare training.
• Experience in healthcare training, apprenticeship, or externship placement.
• Dual certification in surgical technology and sterile processing.
